I build interfaces that scale — from a single Figma frame to a design system used across a dozen product teams.

For the last 10+ years I've worked as a Frontend Engineer / UI Engineer building production React, React Native, and Next.js applications for enterprise and fintech platforms — most recently architecting the web and mobile experience for an insurance servicing platform connecting customers with field technicians for job scheduling and service management.

What I actually do day to day:

→ Turn Figma files into typed, tested, reusable React/TypeScript components — not one-off screens

→ Build and maintain design systems (Storybook, design tokens, micro-frontend architecture) so multiple teams ship consistent UI without reinventing components

→ Profile and fix rendering/bundle performance issues that move real load-time numbers

→ Mentor engineers on React architecture, testing (Jest), and code review discipline

Proof, not adjectives:

Where I'm focused right now:

I'm going deep on applying AI inside the frontend workflow — not just using tools like v0 or Copilot to generate boilerplate, but figuring out where AI genuinely compresses the UI development cycle versus where it just moves the work into code review. I write about this, along with design systems and frontend performance, on LinkedIn.

I'm also building rajatweb.io — a personal showcase of a reusable web-component library and a Figma-to-code design tokens pipeline — so I have a live, working example of the design-system thinking I bring to a team, not just a resume claim.
