Raiyah Brown

I’m an Army veteran and Recognized Peer Support Specialist Graduate (August 2025), dedicated to helping others navigate their own journey to recovery. I’m also a Growing Veterans Peer Support Graduate (December 2023), and I bring energy, empathy, and a strong commitment to connection.

My military background includes U.S. Army Human Resources and service as a U.S. Army Ammunitions Specialist, including earning an Awarded Combat Action Badge (Kirkuk, Iraq) and the Iraq Campaign Medal. After adapting across new environments and high-pressure settings, I learned how to build trust quickly and show up for people consistently.

I’ve also supported communities through communication and media work, including experience as a Radio Station Studio & Social Media Manager. With a strong knack for networking and multicultural, international experience, I’m comfortable reaching people of all walks and keeping engagement steady.

I combine practical life experience with creative strengths—creative and script writing, and web series creation and production. As I pursue this next step, I’m ready to apply my training and drive to help others move forward, and I can provide four strong recommendation letters attached.
