At Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), I lead external baseline benchmarking for a genomic variant-effect prediction model. I designed a comparison of seven foundation models, and the evaluation suite anchors a co-authored manuscript in preparation.
I built a reproducible two-stage evaluation protocol for BRCA1 saturation genome editing regression, pairing frozen-backbone embedding extraction with a differential regression head. I also engineered inference and caching pipelines for transformer models on hg38 sequences up to 524,288 base pairs.
At Primetax Accounting Services Co LLC, I built two production web apps for automated invoice extraction using Gemini. I also developed a document pipeline that generates structured Excel reports and a real-time work-tracking platform used daily across two teams.
For my Nuqoodi capstone, I designed and served a financial profile classification model that achieved 91% accuracy, then deployed it through FastAPI microservices with real-time inference. I also built Midad, a bilingual Arabic and English calligraphy tutor, which placed second at the Fanar Hackathon.
