Rafael Brusco
@rafaelbrusco
IT professional focused on Python & SQL, delivering automation, log analysis, and operational support.
What I'm looking for
I’m an IT professional with solid experience in infrastructure, automation, and operational support, currently transitioning into Software Development with a strong focus on Python and SQL. I’m detail-oriented, analytical, and driven by logical problem solving and continuous improvement.
In my current role as a Network Analyst at Black Box, I administer and troubleshoot IBM network infrastructure (routing, switching and connectivity). I also develop automation Python scripts, perform structured log analysis, and support system stability through technical diagnostics and issue resolution.
Earlier, at IBM, I handled Mainframe and Batch Operations where I monitored batch jobs (JES2, CA-7, JCL, TSO) and developed automation scripts for monitoring and error detection. I worked with DB2 operations, using SQL for data extraction, and validated execution flows to ensure process integrity.
I’ve also supported distributed server and middleware operations with Python and Shell scripts for automated server checks and application monitoring, plus AS/400 operations during a client migration. With certifications including CCNA and mainframe DB2/CICS operator training, I bring a strong operational foundation into software-focused work.
