What I'm looking for

I’m seeking psychiatric mental health roles where I can lead daily operations, strengthen crisis-ready clinical care, and grow into PMHNP-level practice—grounded in compassionate, patient-centered advocacy and strong interdisciplinary teamwork.

I’m an experienced psychiatric nurse with over four years of direct mental health care, specializing in patient advocacy, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary teamwork. After gaining 14+ years across adult nursing assistant work, NICU patient care technician experience, and home nursing for retired veterans, I bring a steady, patient-centered approach to complex clinical needs.

Recently promoted to RN Shift Coordinator, I provide leadership in unit operations—managing unit staffing, admissions, safety protocols, and behavioral guidelines—while facilitating shift reports with psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists. I’m currently pursuing a PMHNP degree (since August 2024) to enhance my clinical skills and advance into psychiatric mental health care leadership, supported by BLS/CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
