@elizabethgbala
Registered nurse and case management leader focused on psychiatric care, utilization review, and Lean Six Sigma–driven quality improvement.
What I'm looking for
I’m a registered nurse and case management professional with experience spanning psychiatric nursing, pediatric care, and utilization management. I bring a trauma-informed, patient- and family-centered approach, combining comprehensive clinical assessment with payer-compliant preauthorization, concurrent, and retrospective review to support the right level of care.
I also work with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt principles to improve workflows, use root cause analysis to reduce discharge-planning delays, and strengthen continuity of care to reduce avoidable readmissions. As I pursue my DNP with an emphasis on advanced psychiatric care and healthcare systems leadership, I’m driven to apply data-informed decision-making and interdisciplinary collaboration to close healthcare utilization gaps and improve outcomes.
