What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply legal research and drafting skills to medical law work, health research ethics, and privacy/data protection—supporting thoughtful, compliant decisions and meaningful client or institutional outcomes.

I’m a Senior Legal Assistant with a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and advisory support. Over multiple years, I compiled, proofread, and edited contracts, leases, licences, and policies—ensuring documents are accurate, clear, and legally grounded.

I bring hands-on experience interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents, while also providing legal advice to clients in person and via telephone. I’m comfortable managing requests from senior management and conducting comprehensive research to gather the right legal information for real-world decisions.

My postgraduate focus—on the right to privacy in health research—shaped how I think about ethical-legal frameworks. I’m especially driven by medical law and health research ethics, privacy and data protection in healthcare, and comparative legal frameworks (South Africa and the United States).
