Purva Tonde

I’m a Computer Engineering student with strong skills in Python, SQL, and software development fundamentals. I enjoy building production-ready applications, including machine learning solutions, REST APIs, and full-stack systems—grounded in DSA, OOP, and SDLC.

In my projects, I’ve delivered measurable outcomes. I built a content-based movie recommendation engine using NLP on a dataset of 5,000+ movies, with efficient preprocessing and feature extraction for accurate similarity-based suggestions. I also developed a telecom customer churn prediction pipeline that achieved 77% accuracy and 76% recall on an imbalanced dataset, using behavioral and contract-based features to reduce prediction errors.

I bring an engineering mindset to deployment and usability. I developed a FastAPI-based REST service for real-time inference with robust data validation, and I created a Streamlit-based interface for real-time user input and instant recommendations. I’m eager to contribute to impactful engineering solutions at Infosys, bringing strong project management and leadership in team settings.
