Psychologist Kirobi

I am a licensed Psychologist registered with the Kenya Counsellors & Psychologists Board, with over 2 years of hands-on experience in psychosocial support, mental health counseling, and HIV testing and counseling (HTS). I focus on providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and emotional support to adolescents, adults, and caregivers.

At Suruvi Care-for-caregiver, I co-authored, planned, and co-hosted the Mindful of Me program for caregivers, strengthening self-care and stress-management practices through talks on vicarious trauma and intentional self-care. I delivered one-on-one therapy sessions, created psycho-educational content for company platforms, and wrote detailed workshop and facilitation reports, while using assessment data representations such as burnout and emotional assessments.

At St. Raphael Health Centre, I worked alongside HIV Testing Service (HTS) providers by uploading patient data to the Kenyan government server (Kenya EMR), conducting counseling and therapy sessions, and administering psychological assessments and standardized tests. I also coordinated with healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery and maintained accurate, confidential patient records while supporting data collection and analysis for HTS services.
