I've planned and delivered community events and communications at Utah Valley University, from monthly student branch programming to diversity and inclusion initiatives reaching broad campus audiences.
As Connection Branch Coordinator, I managed event logistics from venue booking through on-the-day delivery, created promotions across social media, flyers, and web channels, tracked budgets, and led a team of five through regular one-to-one check-ins and feedback.
In the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, I created and launched the EID101 communications program and supported programming for MLK Commemoration Week. I've also coordinated club events, including a club rush event attended by 2,500+ people, and recruited 20+ volunteers and participants for social impact programming.
My work is grounded in social impact and systems thinking. I completed research on comprehensive sex education for Utah youth, won UVU's Oxford Map the System competition, reached the global semi-finalist stage, and received the Underrepresented Voices award.
