Praveen Pankajakshan

I am a seasoned Livestock Farm Manager and Veterinarian with extensive experience in managing diverse animal species and optimizing farm operations. My journey began with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Kerala Agricultural University, India, and has evolved through various roles across the Middle East, including my current position at Arabian Dairy and Meat in Doha, Qatar. Here, I am establishing a new farming company focused on dairy and meat production, while also overseeing the health and welfare of various livestock species.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to animal welfare and farm productivity. At Verticroft Holdings in Abu Dhabi, I managed a vertically integrated sheep farm, implementing innovative breeding and nutrition strategies that significantly improved herd growth and reduced mortality rates. My experience at Wadi Wurayah National Park further honed my skills in wildlife management and conservation, where I played a pivotal role in breeding endangered species and conducting health assessments for both feral and domestic animals.

With a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and farm management, I excel in developing effective business strategies, recruiting and training teams, and ensuring compliance with biosecurity measures. My goal is to continue contributing to the livestock industry by leveraging my expertise to enhance productivity and animal health in a dynamic and challenging environment.
