Pratima Eisenstein

I am a Galway-based Industrial Designer with a First-Class Honours degree and a background spanning product design, CAD modelling, design engineering and freelance art.

My technical skills include SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. I have experience developing 3D CAD models, producing technical drawings, creating prototypes and supporting product development through design iterations and feedback from testing. During my internship with a medical design consultancy, I worked on medical device concepts, refined designs in collaboration with engineers and contributed to the development of practical, manufacturable solutions.

I enjoy understanding how products work and turning concepts into functional designs. Detail-oriented and organised, I am interested in modular construction, materials, design for manufacture and product functionality.

Since 2010, I have also worked as a freelance artist on commissioned paintings and personal projects. This work has strengthened my visual communication, client communication, independent working and project management skills, while bringing a creative perspective to technical problem-solving.

I am seeking opportunities to apply my CAD and design skills, develop my technical expertise and contribute to meaningful product development projects. I am open to remote and hybrid roles in industrial design, product development, CAD design, design engineering and related technical fields.
