At Genpact, I build GroundedDocs, a private document Q&A product that delivers faithful citations from users’ files and abstains when evidence is insufficient.
I designed idempotent PDF ingestion, authorization-aware hybrid retrieval, citation-backed structured answers, and evaluation gates for retrieval, faithfulness, security, latency, and cost. I also built a multi-provider OpenAI-compatible gateway with tenant authentication, token budgets, retries, circuit breakers, and privacy-aware caching.
Previously, I architected Java 11 and Spring Boot microservices for Shutterfly processing 2 million daily transactions, reducing API response times by 65%. I improved retrieval speed by 70%, reduced costs by 30%, and helped achieve 99.9% uptime across 15+ microservices.
I’ve also built React and TypeScript tools for photo processing and internal automation, supported 5 million daily uploads, and mentored three developers through TDD practices that raised code coverage from 65% to 92%.
