Pranshu Ranjan

I’m a final-year Computer Science and Engineering student at VIT Vellore, with a focus on Python, backend development, data, and cloud technologies. I enjoy building practical software that solves real-world problems and have worked across backend systems, databases, APIs, data processing/analysis, and machine learning.

I’ve built projects such as LazyIntern, an internship aggregation platform that collects opportunities from 60+ sources and processes, scores, and delivers relevant listings to users. I worked on the backend using Python and FastAPI and integrated technologies including Supabase/PostgreSQL, Gmail API, Twilio, and Groq.

I also built SmartClinic, a healthcare management system focused on managing patients, doctors, appointments, and medical records, which gave me hands-on experience with backend development, relational databases, APIs, and designing software around real-world workflows.

My technical interests include Python, SQL, backend engineering, data analytics, machine learning, APIs, databases, and Google Cloud. I also have experience with Java, C++, Git, Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

I’m particularly interested in software engineering, backend, data, and AI-focused roles, especially at startups and product-driven companies where I can take ownership, work on meaningful problems, learn quickly, and contribute across different parts of the product. I’m looking for an environment where I can grow as an engineer while building software that is actually used by people.
