I am a backend-focused third-year Computer Science undergraduate who builds scalable data and AI-powered ingestion and analytics systems. I enjoy tackling messy, real-world data problems and designing pipelines that evolve with changing requirements.

I've designed and implemented production-style services in Java (Spring Boot) and Python, including ingestion pipelines, job queues, and internal analytics APIs that serve low-latency queries on millions of rows. I prioritise reliability through strategies like deduplication, retry/exponential backoff, Flyway migrations, and robust integration testing.

My projects integrated LLMs and external APIs to extract structured signals from unstructured text, reducing API costs through smart preprocessing and delivering queryable insights via REST endpoints and realtime dashboards. I focus on pragmatic polyglot designs, using the best tool for each stage (Java for core backend, Python for NLP/AI stages).

I bring high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and a habit of reasoning through engineering tradeoffs before building. I’m available immediately for a remote internship or contributor role where I can help ship core backend and data systems from day one.
