Software Engineer

I'm a Software Engineer at Bentley Systems focused primarily on backend engineering, distributed systems, APIs, system design, and performance.

I build systems that other engineers build on top of. My work spans backend services, developer infrastructure, distributed architectures, and performance optimization.

Over the past year, I built an NLP-to-SQL agent that lets teams query databases using plain English and was adopted across multiple internal teams. I built a bidirectional-streaming gRPC client for constructing structural engineering models in real time, and worked on a micro-frontend integration layer powering Bentley's unified platform across product lines.

I care a lot about performance and production engineering. I reduced API response times by 60% through batch query optimization and reduced 3D model analysis time by 85% by building an automated benchmarking pipeline.

I also won Bentley's company-wide Architecture Kata, designing an event-driven microservices architecture for real-time trip consolidation across heterogeneous data sources. The work was recognized by Julien Moutte, Bentley's CTO.
