Piyush Makad

I’m Piyush Makad, a Full Stack AI Engineer with 2.2+ years of experience building production AI applications and backend systems. My work spans React interfaces, LLM integration, tool orchestration, APIs, databases, and deployment, with direct ownership of features used by customers and internal engineering teams.

At ChatDaddy, I architected and shipped a 120-tool MCP platform for messaging, CRM, automation, and commerce, with typed schemas, team-scoped access, and approval gates. I also built a production prompt-to-flow generator that converts natural-language requests into editable automation workflows using React and the OpenAI Responses API. For Daily AI Reports, I owned the complete implementation—from analytics calculations and model integration to billing, email delivery, and the customer interface—serving 3000+ teams.

One of my strongest contributions was Architect Suite, an investigation system whose code was adopted into ChatDaddy’s production Backend Doctor. It brought together logs and application evidence to help support and engineering identify root causes, reducing diagnosis time from 1–2 hours to 10–15 minutes and helping bring the ticket backlog from 30–40 to 2–3.

Alongside AI development, I bring strong full-stack and backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Go, React.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ, as well as containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes. My contributions include hot/cold data partitioning, making contact lookups five times faster, eliminating 290K+ API calls and operations per day, and reducing decryption failures on retried WhatsApp messages from 65% to under 1% across a platform processing 4M+ daily messages. Previously, at CineStox, I built services for real-time trading, payments, notifications, and financial analytics.
