I’m a financial planning professional with hands-on experience supporting investment decision-making, portfolio tracking, and investment administration. As an Investments Intern at the Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board, I reviewed investment proposals across real estate, corporate debt instruments, and equity to assess viability and profitability.
I also strengthened my analytical and reporting capability by drafting weekly and monthly investment directorate reports and producing monthly investment appraisals and proposals for fixed income securities like government bonds, fixed deposits, and treasury bills. I monitored and collected financial markets and macroeconomic data to support both current and future investment planning, and I contributed to executive summary updates for management meetings.
Alongside this, I served as an Investments Promotion Officer Intern at the Zambia Development Agency, where I facilitated meetings with investors, provided advice on investing routes in Zambia, and maintained detailed client and investor records through both physical filing and digital record keeping. I’m motivated by stakeholder engagement, careful record keeping, and turning research into practical investment insights—especially when it helps attract partners and grow long-term investment activity.
