At Malawi Enterprise Development Fund, I managed a MWK 9 billion loan portfolio, growing it from MK6 billion to MK9 billion through targeted client acquisition, portfolio management and disciplined lending operations.
I led 30 staff across operations, credit and supporting functions, and acquired and empowered more than 4,000 new clients while managing more than 15,000 clients.
I led branch disbursement performance to the highest level in the institution, ranking 1 out of 53 branches nationally and receiving a disbursement performance award. I progressed from loan officer intern to Branch Supervisor due to outstanding performance.
