I am a Senior Data Governance professional with hands-on experience implementing enterprise data catalogs, metadata management, and data governance programs across banking, oil & gas, and consulting environments. I led the deployment of OpenMetadata as a cross-company Data Catalog, produced a feasibility study and assessment presented to the CDO, and developed metadata guidelines focused on data quality and banking compliance.

I design and operationalize governance artifacts such as RACI matrices, data roles and responsibilities, data domain taxonomies, and Data Governance dashboards to track KPIs for tool usage, metadata coverage, and data identification. I have supported cultural transformation initiatives, stewardship workflows, lineage and catalog population, and adoption of governance tooling including Informatica Data Governance & Catalog.

I combine frameworks like Data Mesh, Lean and Agile with practical stewardship and data quality practices to streamline onboarding, data lake ingestion standards, and decentralized data practices. I hold a degree in Systems Engineering, a diploma in Data Governance & Privacy, and CDMP certification, and I communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
