What I'm looking for

I seek SOC-focused roles where I can apply hands-on detection, SIEM analysis, and incident response work in collaborative, learning-oriented teams.

I am a cybersecurity analyst with hands-on experience in network security, web application security, and intrusion detection systems. I specialize in SOC operations, monitoring and analyzing security alerts using SIEM tools and configuring detection rules.

I have implemented and tuned detection systems such as Suricata and Splunk, and deployed ModSecurity WAF with the OWASP CRS to identify and block attacks like SQLi and XSS. I validate detection efficacy through simulated attacks and log analysis.

My project work includes building secure tools and labs: a secure file-sharing system using AES (Fernet) and SHA-256 integrity checks, a command-line packet sniffer with Scapy, and other encryption and logging utilities. I routinely perform web application testing with Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP and conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and OpenVAS.

I bring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective documentation skills, and a collaborative, quick-learning approach in virtual lab and real-world environments. I am eager to contribute to SOC teams focused on detection engineering and incident response.
