What I'm looking for

I seek an entry-level SOC or cybersecurity role where I can apply SIEM and endpoint monitoring skills, perform incident triage, grow technical expertise, and contribute to a collaborative security team.

I am an entry-level SOC and cybersecurity analyst with hands-on experience in SIEM, endpoint security, network monitoring, and web exploitation labs. I focus on threat detection, alert triage, and documenting actionable incident reports.

I have worked with tools such as Wazuh, Elastic SIEM, Splunk, Sophos Endpoint, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Metasploit in lab and simulation environments to validate detections and investigate suspicious activity.

My practical projects include designing a PKI with root and intermediate CAs, capturing and analyzing network traffic, and exploiting and documenting web application vulnerabilities in controlled settings. I emphasize accuracy in log analysis, event correlation, and false-positive reduction.

I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science (in progress/completed 2020–2025) and certifications from TryHackMe on SOC Fundamentals, Network Security, and Web Exploitation, and I am continuing studies in Cloud Security Fundamentals (AWS) and a cybersecurity track at AltSchool Africa.
