What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Registered Nurse role where I can combine precise monitoring, strong documentation in Epic, and compassionate patient advocacy—working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, seamless care.

I’m a BSN-prepared Registered Nurse committed to safe, detail-driven patient care. I bring hands-on experience across perioperative/PACU workflows and a high-acuity Neuro ICU environment where precise monitoring and documentation directly impact outcomes.

In pre-operative/PACU roles, I conduct thorough pre-op assessments, review medical histories and consents, start and monitor IVs, administer pre-operative medications, and educate patients and families on recovery expectations. I also recover patients in the PACU by monitoring vital signs, pain levels, and anesthesia recovery, stepping in promptly when something changes, and serving as a circulating nurse to support seamless coordination in the OR.

In the Neuro ICU, I continuously monitor neurological status, including vital signs, intracranial pressure, and Glascow Coma scale, and I complete frequent hourly neurological assessments. I manage ventilator support (including suctioning) in collaboration with the respiratory therapist, administer and manage multiple medication drips (including anticonvulsants, sedative, hypertonic saline, norepinephrine, and nicardipine), and oversee specialized monitoring such as BIZ, ICP, EVD, and continuous EEG. I document extensively in Epic and actively communicate with families and providers during rounds to advocate for my patients.

Beyond direct bedside care, I’ve supported clinical efficiency as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Scribe in dermatology—transcribing visits, assisting with procedures like biopsies and cyst excisions, reconciling histories and medications, and maintaining careful record quality. I also serve as a Supplemental Instructor, and I carry that teaching mindset into every shift through teamwork, organization, and compassion for patients and their families.
