What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an RN role where I can thrive in trauma/critical care, delegate and collaborate effectively, and deliver clear patient education—while continuing to sharpen assessment, monitoring, and critical interventions in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

I’m a Registered Nurse committed to safe, compassionate, and well-coordinated patient care. I bring 17 years of healthcare experience, including hands-on work as a patient care technician, certified nursing assistant, and geriatric nursing assistant before stepping fully into RN practice.

Since becoming a Registered Nurse, I’ve worked in a high-acuity trauma tele/stepdown environment. I effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, plan and evaluate care based on patient assessment, and monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions so abnormal changes are reported promptly.

My background also includes Shock Trauma and Neuro Trauma ICU exposure through a Student Nurse role, where I assisted with patient care, transfers, confidentiality, and clinical procedures under nurse supervision. I supported EKG work, Foley/Ostomy/Colostomy care, phlebotomy, IV administration, straight catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, and interpreting physician orders.

I’m known for strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and critical thinking under pressure. Whether I’m educating patients and families, collaborating across disciplines for disposition and psychosocial/spiritual support, or maintaining accurate records and safe environments, my focus stays on optimizing outcomes and maximizing available resources.
