I’m looking for a backend leadership role where I can own architecture and system design for scalable distributed services. I want to mentor teams, improve performance and reliability, and deliver maintainable Rails/FastAPI APIs in a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

I’m a Staff Engineer / Senior Backend Engineer with 13+ years of experience designing, architecting, and delivering scalable, high-performance backend applications and distributed systems. I lead end-to-end development of business-critical solutions with a strong emphasis on backend architecture, system design, and performance optimization.

My expertise spans Ruby on Rails and Python (FastAPI), building RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems. I’ve contributed to migrating a monolithic application to a microservices architecture, and I focus on database optimization, caching, and background job processing to improve reliability and throughput.

I mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices. I’ve also driven engineering excellence through automated testing, CI/CD, static code analysis, and code quality improvements—so teams ship faster without sacrificing maintainability.
