Patricia Thomas
@patriciathomas1
Biologist delivering habitat assessments, conservation support, and data/document management.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Contract Biologist and field-focused conservation professional, providing short-term support for data management, document editing, and language translation alongside habitat assessments, conservation easements, and soil and water testing.
From 2010–2019, I worked as a Biologist with Pacific Biodiversity Institute, managing citizen science/community outreach and leading field work on habitat assessments, rare plants, and invasive species—while partnering with Native American organizations to educate children and adults.
I also bring operational and people-management experience: I’ve handled office management, building maintenance, document/website editing, and data entry, and I’ve managed paid employees and undergraduate interns while leading farm-to-table education programming in agriculture-focused roles.
In parallel, I run Tempest Knavery and Designs (2020–present), creating wearable art and social content, designing websites, and delivering ghostwriting and custom creative projects through bids for larger design science companies.
