What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Werkstudent role where I can build AI-agent automation and LLM-based pipelines for digital media/journalism—own reliable n8n/Make workflows, integrate APIs, and improve process digitalization with hands-on backend development.

I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at RPTU Kaiserslautern (Software Engineering / Intelligent Systems), focused on backend development, AI process automation, and process digitalization. I build end-to-end automation workflows that are secure, self-hosted, and resilient in real-world usage.

In my Software Engineer Intern role at AVEGEN, I supported product releases by fixing production issues, validating deployment readiness, and coordinating with developers, QA, product owners, and customers. I also developed automation and testing scripts in Bash to compare Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL behavior, and built DevOps automation (Bash and Ruby on Rails) to set up development environments with Docker and optional AWS S3 restores.

Across projects, I designed 5+ AI-driven automation workflows using n8n and Make.com, including Telegram Bot API integration with DeepSeek LLM for context-aware task routing. I fine-tuned a T5-based translation model using LoRA (Hugging Face, PyTorch, GPU) and improved performance (BLEU ~46 → ~61, CHRF ~62 → ~70). I’m now seeking a Werkstudent role in AI automation and workflow development, especially applying AI agents and LLM-based pipelines to digital media and journalism contexts.

LLM Fine-Tuning for Language Translation

Fine-tuned a T5-based LLM using LoRA on GPU in Google Colab and built an end-to-end ML pipeline with Hugging Face and PyTorch. Improved translation quality from BLEU ~46 to ~61 and CHRF ~62 to ~70 via dataset expansion and prompt engineering.
