Pankhuri Budhiraja

I am an advocate enrolled with the State Bar Council of Delhi, India, and I work as an Associate [Dispute Resolution] at DMDAdvocates. I draft pleadings, written statements, applications, and legal notes/briefs, primarily for arbitration matters before the high courts and arbitral tribunals.

I conduct and delegate legal research on complex issues relating to arbitration laws and intellectual property laws, and I review legal documents prior to filings and hearings to ensure legal accuracy, coherence, and procedural compliance. I’ve independently represented multinational corporations in court proceedings before the Delhi High Court and Punjab & Haryana High Court, coordinated regularly with clients, and assisted partners during court hearings while also supervising interns at the firm.

Before my firm practice, I supported academic legal research as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, on the enforceability of Directive Principles of State Policy and how Indian courts give them effect. I also assisted a Senior Advocate at Chambers through research and brief preparation on constitutional, criminal, and procedural issues, and I published “Incorporation of Cyberwarfare in the Rome Statute: A Futile Endeavour” in the International Criminal Court Forum.
