What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver safe, holistic, patient-centered nursing—especially in gastroenterology/endoscopy—while mentoring teams, supporting patient education and advocacy, and collaborating closely to maintain quality care.

I am a responsible, compassionate RN with 26 years of experience and a strong passion for nursing that makes a positive difference in the lives of others. I approach everyday challenges with a holistic mindset, shaped by advanced training outside the modern medical world, while staying grounded in safety, teamwork, and quality patient care. I adapt quickly to new situations and I enjoy building a strong, trusting rapport with diverse patient populations, co-workers, and healthcare providers.

In gastroenterology endoscopy, I deliver critical thinking and strong assessment skills across pre-op, procedural, and recovery phases, including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, procedural IV conscious sedation administration, and precise electronic medical record documentation with accurate specimen handling and labeling. I bring extensive proficiency with endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, liver biopsies, and paracentesis, and I also mentor corpsman and support gastroenterology technicians through teaching, remedial instruction, and competency assessment. I’ve also worked across emergency and endoscopy settings (including bronchoscopy/therapeutic cases) and completed critical care training such as ACLS and BLS, so I can anticipate acuity changes and communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
