What I'm looking for

I seek a role that fosters innovation in diagnostics and supports public health initiatives.

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Microbiologist with 8 years of experience in microbiology research, diagnostic laboratory work, and infectious disease management. My career has been marked by a proven track record in clinical diagnostics and molecular biology, where I have led significant advancements in laboratory practices. I am committed to advancing biomedical research and public health in Kenya through innovative diagnostic practices and the training of health professionals.

Currently, I serve as a Senior Clinical Microbiologist at Kenyatta National Hospital, where I lead molecular diagnostic testing for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and HIV. I have developed and implemented new laboratory SOPs that have significantly improved diagnostic efficiency. My previous role at KEMRI involved conducting laboratory investigations on bacterial and viral pathogens, collaborating with clinicians to support case management, and participating in national programs for antimicrobial resistance monitoring.
