At Ignite (ENGIE) Energy Access, I’m leading the move to modern analytics engineering across nine African markets. I’m designing harmonised datasets and dbt adoption so 50+ analysts can work from shared business definitions.
At AFEX Commodities Exchange, I owned the analytics and data engineering stack, including the commodities price index whose outputs reached the Securities and Exchange Commission. I rebuilt the index methodology with stakeholders and external consultants, then implemented validation and calculation models in dbt, orchestrated in Airflow.
I also established data quality coverage with dbt tests and Great Expectations, introduced OpenMetadata for cataloguing and lineage, and built an automated regulatory reporting chain. Earlier, I produced Arnergy Solar Limited’s first full-year sustainability report and defined the data frameworks used for later disclosures.
