Oluwatobi Mayungbo

I’m a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer specializing in predictive analysis and robust Python-driven development. I focus on building end-to-end data pipelines, engineering complex features, and evaluating machine learning architectures to solve stochastic, real-world problems.

I’ve delivered practical ML work through projects like modeling English Premier League results (using Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, Neural Networks, and Poisson Regression with rigorous evaluation via AIC, BIC, Deviance, and Pseudo R²). I’ve also built an automated web-scraping + NLP sentiment analysis workflow for Jumia reviews, and deployed it via a front-end interface for easy evaluation of new reviews.

My experience includes teaching Python with NumPy and Pandas, reviewing and validating datasets for accuracy and consistency, and applying data-driven thinking to identify irregularities during internal auditing. With Google Data Analytics Professional/Advanced Data Analytics credentials and ongoing statistics and AI study, I’m driven to turn data into reliable decisions and deployable machine learning systems.
