What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a desk-based conflict research role where I can synthesise French and English sources, maintain data integrity, and produce rigorous analytical writing focused on West Africa and Francophone dynamics.

I’m a recent graduate in Classics with C1-level French proficiency and an independent study focus in Philosophy, strengthening my research foundation across African history, political power, and international affairs. I bring bilingual French–English proficiency at C1 level and a structured analytical approach developed through academic work that prioritizes source precision.

I’m experienced in desk-based research—identifying, evaluating, and synthesising sources across English and French—and in producing rigorous analytical writing under academic deadlines. With French-language source fluency (C1 reading and writing), I consistently handle complex material carefully to maintain accuracy and logical consistency for research and data collection workflows.

Alongside my degree, I’ve independently delivered French language programmes (including learner assessment and detailed progress records) and led operational decision-making as Electoral Committee Chairman at the Department of Classics, University of Ibadan. I’m particularly oriented toward West Africa and conflict dynamics, with research interests spanning political authority, institutional fragility, and the history of conflict and empire—from antiquity to the modern period.
