I’m a Backend Engineer specializing in high-integrity systems, with hands-on experience designing secure REST APIs and building robust backend architectures for real-world applications. I focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability—especially in systems where data correctness and operational stability matter.

At Seamfix Lagos, I contributed to SeamID, a large-scale digital identity and verification platform used by enterprises and universities. I built and maintained NestJS-based backend services for identity verification workflows, and I investigated and resolved production issues related to student photo rendering and ID card generation, reducing operational rework and improving service stability.

For a remote role with Waitlist (Real Estate / Property Management Startup) in Lagos, I designed and built backend services using NestJS and TypeScript for property management and payments. I integrated Paystack for rent payments and transactional workflows, implementing secure and idempotent payment processing, plus APIs that supported background processes and asynchronous operations tied to payments and maintenance requests.

Previously at Mintyn Lagos, I developed backend services using Spring Boot for financial applications, including MapleRad card integrations for card issuance and card-related operations. I also worked on payment and notification workflows—migrating email delivery to Mailgun to improve delivery reliability and monitoring—while optimizing backend logic and database interaction to improve performance and scalability.
