My career has taken me from assessing organisations for ISO certification to leading compliance functions in banking, fintech and digital banking. That variety has given me a broad view of how organisations work—from the policies approved in the boardroom to the practical challenges faced by the people implementing them.
Some of the work I’m proud of includes helping build a digital bank’s compliance framework, leading regulatory changes, improving transaction monitoring processes and reducing investigation backlogs. I’ve worked closely with regulators, senior management and business teams, and I enjoy turning complicated requirements into guidance people can actually use.
I’m interested in roles where I can solve problems, improve processes and help people develop. Governance, risk, compliance, quality assurance and operational improvement are natural fits, but I’m feel like introducing fresh perspectives that draw on these skills in a different way.
Outside work, I spend plenty of time at the gym and enjoy baking . Taking part in pop-up stores and events with autism associations gives me a chance to meet people and give back to the community to experience a different side of life.
