I’m a results-driven Senior Core Network Engineer with extensive hands-on experience supporting Fixed Access and Core Optical Transport Networks, focused on GPON, DWDM, SDH/TDM, and Carrier Ethernet technologies. I’ve built my career around keeping enterprise and mobile backhaul services highly available, including SLA-compliant performance across the UAE.

At Etisalat UAE (e&), I deliver end-to-end field support for core SDH/TDM and optical transport services—covering leased lines and mobile site backhaul as well as GPON delivery. I manage both planned and unplanned outages through fault analysis, isolation, and restoration in coordination with NMS/NOC operations, OEM vendors, and internal stakeholders, while continuously driving root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions to reduce repeat incidents.

My day-to-day strength is combining NMS/NOC operations with hands-on troubleshooting and verification. I perform site acceptance and survey activities for newly commissioned OLT subracks, DWDM shelves, and routers, validate ACL/SID inventory entries against engineering standards, and use tools like NM5620, NOCTOS, and NECTAD alongside OTDR, BERT testers, and optical power/source meters to diagnose physical and logical faults. I also support infrastructure readiness and migration efforts—moving from legacy access systems to newer DON network and TDM-based connectivity using PDMUX and mediation devices.
