Nomathamsanqa Zono

I taught English abroad for three years before transitioning to teaching online. During my tenure, I rose through the ranks and I eventually held the senior teacher position. In this role, I successfully oversaw the continuous professional development of junior teachers, tracked and improved staff KPIs, and assisted the Director of Studies with ad-hoc duties all while maintaining my teaching schedule. Prior to my teaching career, I was employed as an office assistant for a property valuation company where I was tasked with general admin duties.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes University, South Africa. I majored in Political Studies, International Relations, and Industrial Psychology. I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate from FoundationTEFL as well as a CertTESOL from Trinity College London.
