I’m a Backend Developer Intern focused on shipping dependable backend services. At Nextbase Solutions, I built and maintained core REST APIs in Node.js and Express that supported multiple production applications.

I also improved the reliability and cost of AI workflows by evaluating multiple AI providers and implementing fallback logic for AI model requests, reducing cost by 25%. On top of that, I diagnosed and resolved production issues across request handling and backend services, reducing request failures by over 60%.

I designed an AI-powered investigation workflow to automate a repetitive manual task, streamlining operational analysis and issue diagnosis. I also integrated 3 new mobile apps into our backend so they could connect and interact with core services.

I back my production mindset with systems-focused projects—like an event-driven latency profiler in Go (NATS pub/sub, Postgres/ClickHouse, and per-check breakdowns) and LiteKV, a concurrent Go key-value store with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and Write-Ahead Logging. I’m driven by building practical, performance-minded software, and I enjoy challenging problem-solving.
