Nikita Sazonov

I work in strategy and operations. 15 years in automotive, logistics and now software. What I do best is take a messy process, understand it from the inside, and turn it into something that works without constant firefighting.

Right now I’m co-building the operations platform and ERP for 4Tracks, a Canadian transportation company with about 700 employees. I work as both business process engineer and developer. I interview the people, map how the work really gets done, design the workflows and business logic, and then build the tools. So far that means 14+ standardized processes, dispatch data transfers automated through API integrations, and ARR growth of about 60% without adding HR or dispatch staff.

Before that I was Head of Long-Term Forecasting at AVTOVAZ. The department was new after a restructuring and I came in from outside, so I had to work out the processes myself. I built 10-year sales forecasts for a $3.3B portfolio, prepared material for board-level discussions, and managed a team of 5 analysts that I hired and trained.

Before that, 7+ years as a key account manager at two automotive suppliers, DSK (interior parts) and Bitron (electronics). I ran the cross-functional team that prepared quotations for production programs, working with engineering, production, purchasing, logistics and finance. I had to know the products well enough to negotiate with customers at any level. I did the cost breakdowns, set the final prices, and handled the sales contracts.

With a partner I also run a small software company for regulated industries like production and transportation. It grows slowly, but comfortably.

I’m looking for remote work building and running processes and systems: business operations, strategy and planning, revenue operations, or chief of staff to a department head. I live in Uruguay with legal residency and work through my own company.
