I've shipped firmware for connected products across automotive, IoT and energy technology, taking end-to-end ownership from architecture and drivers to OTA, provisioning, hardware bring-up and field debugging.
At Decarbon1ze, I was the sole embedded engineer and delivered the company's first hardware product to a 15-unit Vonovia pilot. I also built demand-response and smart-metering systems, including a Dockerised Python application for the BMWK-funded FlexMC project and firmware deployed to 150+ customer units.
At Next Big Thing, I built a reusable Zephyr/nRF91 platform with MCUBoot OTA, Protobuf and AWS IoT Core that became a production-ready starting point for 4–5 startups. I also automated factory provisioning and created low-power, resilient sensor capabilities for deployed devices.
Earlier, I shipped automotive voice-assistant software at German AutoLabs and contributed to automotive Ethernet AVB for GM infotainment at Harman. More recently at Novolto, I took sole full-stack ownership of a 150-device connected-heater platform, improving reliability, database performance and smart-meter integrations.
