I'm a self-taught backend engineer from Accra, Ghana, who's spent the last three years going from intern to technical lead: architecting the systems, not just implementing them.

At Heritors Labs, I was Technical Lead across three production platforms simultaneously: Ordabl (an e-commerce fulfillment engine), ExpertsHub (a two-sided professional network), and Carbset (Africa's first carbon credit brokerage). The work I'm proudest of there is a zero-downtime MongoDB-to-PostgreSQL migration under live traffic, and architecting the "Buy Now Pay Later" integration with the Consolidated Bank of Ghana, the technical execution that directly helped close that institutional contract. I also mentored junior engineers and interns and ran code review practices for the team.

Right now I'm the founding backend engineer at FeatheryCare, building Cluck, a multi-platform poultry farm management suite. I led the rebuild of a legacy system into decoupled FastAPI-based core and mobile backends: async REST APIs, encrypted backup storage, multi-role permission systems, subscription billing, and a referral engine deployed on Google Cloud with CI/CD I built and maintain myself.

My core strengths are relational database design, authentication/authorization systems (JWT, OAuth, multi-tenant RBAC), and taking systems from "it mostly works" to something that scales cleanly. I particularly enjoy the kind of problem where a schema or migration decision made early saves everyone pain six months later.

I'm currently deepening my skills in applied machine learning (DeepLearning.AI specialization) and distributed systems, and I'm building a fintech-focused ledger/escrow side project to sharpen that domain expertise further. FinTech is where I want to spend more of my career.

I'm looking for remote senior or staff-level backend/platform roles, ideally in FinTech, AgriTech, or infrastructure-heavy products, where I can own architecture decisions and work with a team that takes distributed/async-first collaboration seriously.
