I’m a development-focused Medical Social Work professional with hands-on experience in community-based health programming, policy analysis, and structured research. I translate field insights into actionable recommendations while staying committed to inclusive, rights-based community empowerment.
As a Community-Based Medical Social Work Intern at AWOCHE Foundation, I conducted psychosocial assessments, supported case management for vulnerable populations, and participated in structured community outreach programs impacting 500+ beneficiaries. I drafted reports and monitored intervention outcomes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and local stakeholders to strengthen community health service delivery.
Through volunteer and project leadership roles, I coordinated community development initiatives, managed volunteer mobilization in Kibera, and supported psychosocial rehabilitation and awareness at National Spinal Injury Hospital.
