At SkinVision, I lead the end-to-end lifecycle of a production medical ML system, from dataset generation and experimentation through deployment, monitoring, and audit-ready documentation. I built an automated AWS SageMaker retraining pipeline that reduced training time from three days to seven hours.
I migrated the core model from TensorFlow to PyTorch, implemented MLflow experiment tracking and dataset lineage, and fine-tuned vision foundation models to improve sensitivity and specificity. My background also includes bioinformatics pipelines at BioNTech and genomic data analysis at the Italian Institute of Technology.
