At TotalCare’s freestanding emergency rooms, I audit and code ER charts in EPD and generate paired professional and institutional claims for every encounter. I achieved 94.57% recent audit accuracy while completing 15–22 charts per eight-hour shift.

I use ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, E/M levels, modifiers, revenue codes, payer portals, and medical-necessity reporting to support clean, timely submissions. I also correct THCIC errors, identify documentation and coding trends, and coordinate with QA, Collections, Billing, and other operational teams across three facilities.

My ICU nursing background at Saint Georges Hospital University Medical Center and clinic experience at TotalCare help me bring clinical judgment, documentation integrity, and end-to-end revenue-cycle awareness to coding work. I’ve trained five new coders and billing staff and cross-trained in billing workflows and payment posting.
