At Cape, I coordinate claims from notification through settlement across medical, work accident, workers' compensation, motor, personal accident, and third-party liability cases. I review policy terms and medical documents to assess coverage and identify what is needed.
I work with insurers, TPAs, healthcare providers, and clients to secure approvals and resolve pending or disputed claims. I also follow up on reimbursements and settlements and prepare claims reports and reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.
My earlier work as a Registered Nurse and Practical Nurse included home healthcare and hospital care in Lebanon. That clinical experience informs my review of medical documentation and my understanding of patient care.
