Nicolas Luthi

I am a software engineer focused on building secure, reliable web and mobile systems using C++, Java, Python, and SQL. I deliver end-to-end solutions and prioritize clean architecture, secure authentication, and maintainable code.

In internships and instructor roles, I have integrated large language model APIs, implemented secure user authentication with Firebase, and developed cross-platform UIs in Flutter. I iterate based on user and team feedback and document architectural decisions for maintainability.

My project work includes architecting Django REST backends with OAuth 2.0, building responsive React frontends with WebSockets, and designing role-based ordering and multi-tier service-oriented applications in C# and Java. I emphasize performance, transactional integrity, and security in database design.

I mentor and teach diverse student groups, guiding hardware–software integration projects (C++/Arduino, Python/DroneKit) and designing multi-month curricula. I communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and focus on collaborative, milestone-driven delivery.
