Nia Smith

My name is Nia Smith, and I am a third-year nursing student at Florida A&M University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. My passion lies in pediatric and NICU nursing, where I aspire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. As a first-generation college student, I am committed to my education and personal growth, aiming to excel academically while gaining valuable work experience.

Throughout my journey, I have developed strong interpersonal skills through various roles, including my experience as a Summer Camp Counselor with After School All-Stars Orlando. There, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of middle school youth, while also fostering a fun and engaging environment. My previous positions at Bed Bath & Beyond and Chick-fil-A further honed my customer service skills, teaching me the importance of communication, teamwork, and responsibility.

As I continue my studies, I am eager to find opportunities that will allow me to save for college while gaining social experience and skills that will benefit my future nursing career. I am excited about the prospect of working in a supportive environment that values growth and collaboration.
