Alyssa Swearengen

I am a dedicated and compassionate nursing student currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Toledo. With hands-on experience in the neonatal intensive care unit, I have developed a strong foundation in patient care and critical thinking. My commitment to providing high-quality care is complemented by my certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medical Assistant, as well as my BLS and CPR certifications.

Throughout my experience as a CNA in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Toledo Hospital, I provided compassionate care to newborns in critical condition, assisting nurses and doctors with patient needs and procedures. My role required not only clinical skills but also the ability to support families during challenging times. Additionally, my work as an Acrobatic/Dance Instructor has honed my ability to communicate effectively and engage with diverse age groups, further enhancing my interpersonal skills.
