@nateraybeck
I lead county operations, budgets, grants, and policy initiatives that strengthen public service delivery.
What I'm looking for
As County Administrator for the Preston County Commission, I direct daily county operations, develop annual budgets, administer grants, review contracts, and coordinate services across facilities, maintenance, custodial, IT, and animal shelter teams.
I advise the County Commission on strategic initiatives and serve as a liaison with federal, state, and local officials. I also represent the Commission through the National Association of Counties, including policy committees focused on transportation, membership, and rural action.
Previously, I advanced legislative research, bill drafting, budget preparation, constituent engagement, and stakeholder briefings for New York State Senator Brian P. Kavanagh. I have also led campaign field operations, volunteer training, and headquarters administration for coordinated statewide and state senate campaigns.
My higher education experience includes leading academic advising at Syracuse University, where I advised up to 400 students and built student-transition programming. I also bring extensive university teaching, research, curriculum design, and course coordination experience from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
