I'm currently a Catering Practical Lecturer at Boland College, teaching and assessing N4–N6 Hospitality and Catering Services learners through practical demonstrations, lesson preparation, assessment, and curriculum development.
At International Hotel School, I've served as an online assessor/facilitator, Senior Culinary Arts Lecturer, Culinary Arts Lecturer, and Traineeship Assessor. I coach learners, manage assessment processes and portfolios of evidence, develop QCTO curricula, and support qualifications in professional cookery, patisserie, food and beverage, accommodation, and reception services.
My education experience also includes Hospitality Studies and Hotel and Catering teaching at Gresswold Senior School, Parklands College, and College of Cape Town. I've developed curricula, arranged industry placements and practical workshops, and taught food preparation, hygiene and safety, and hospitality services.
Before teaching, I led restaurant and kitchen operations as a Senior Restaurant Manager, Head Chef, Line Chef, and Commis Chef. I bring practical experience in menu development, food safety, HACCP, stock control, procurement, functions, customer service, and staff training into every learning environment.
